Alan C. Haras is the founder and director of The Cardoner Institute for Contemplative Leadership and the owner of Hamsa Yoga Center in Lake Orion, Michigan, and co-founder of Ignatian Yoga.  He is a board certified coach, trained spiritual director and retreat guide, 800-hour Dharma Yoga teacher, and a speaker on various dimensions of spirituality and contemplative practice.  Alan has had the privilege to study with many brilliant teachers, including yoga master Sri Dharma Mittra and Vedic scholar Shyamdas, as well as extensive training in Ignatian Spirituality. He is currently pursuing a Masters of Social Work at Wayne State University, with a concentration in Interpersonal Practice.  Alan lives in Rochester, Michigan with his wife Rita.
