Join Bobby Karle SJ and Alan Haras on an embodied journey through the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola. This retreat will incorporate daily meditation and prayer, Ignatian Yoga sessions, and time in silence to awaken and encourage each person’s spiritual journey.
Ignatian Yoga sessions include a talk with themes from the Ignatian and Yoga tradition, silent reflection, small group sharing, and communal prayer.
This is a semi silent retreat. There are periods of silence when retreatants are expected to maintain a sacred silence, including at meals, but the retreat includes some talking and discussion.
You will have comfortable private room with a private bathroom, and all linens and towels and soap are included. Vegetarian, vegan or gluten free meals can be requested in advance, if necessary. Please let Ignatius House know if you have any severe allergies, as the kitchen staff can label food ingredients, but we ask that ultimately you be responsible for your own health. A refrigerator is available for any food you feel you might need to assist you in your dietary needs.
Ignatius House is a gated two-story retreat center without an elevator. If you have mobility issues or require a first floor room, please let us know. If you can manage steps, but need assistance carrying your things to a second-story room, we are happy to assist with your arrival and departure. The rooms are allocated by Guest Services prior to your arrival on a first come first served basis< to those who require assistance.
Cancellation Policy: Full refund if cancelled at least 14 days prior to the start of the retreat. If within that 14 day period, you may apply this amount to another retreat offered by Ignatius House, to be used within 12 months of the cancellation. Alternatively, you may choose to donate that amount to the ministry of Ignatius House. After 12 months, any un-applied credits are counted as a general donation.
