Ignatian Yoga Nidra
October 18 @ 5:00 pm - 5:45 pm
Join Bobby Karle, SJ for a live Ignatian Yoga Nidra practice.
Ignatian Yoga Nidra is an integration of Yoga Nidra (a practice of non-doing and progressive relaxation) and Ignatian contemplation (a style of prayer using the imagination developed by St. Ignatius). Yoga nidra helps to settle the mind and body to enter into the Ignatian contemplation guided journey with relaxed awareness. This 30 minute meditation is best practiced lying down on your back or in a comfortable seat. Bobby will use the Gospel passage for Sunday, October 25 (Greatest commandment passage – love God and love neighbor), his first mass preaching as a deacon. He is excited to share these simple yet powerful practices with friends and family days before he is ordained.
Donations for the class are appreciated, with a recommended donation of $10. All donations will be used to fairly compensate the instructor and support ongoing Ignatian Yoga programming.
The Ignatian Yoga Nidra practice will be held via zoom. When you register, you should receive two confirmation emails: one from paypal confirming your donation and one from Ignatian Yoga. The zoom link and password will be included in the email from email@example.com.
Unable to make a donation at this time? Don’t have a credit card? No problem! You are still most welcome to join us.
